What to know

What happens when we stop insisting on the "right" way to express ourselves, to feel, to inhabit our bodies and society, to experience language and writing, acknowledging that our experiences are fundamentally different and real, not wrong? In turn, disagreements cease to be struggles over a single truth, opening a space for coexistence where gendered, social, and political positions become practices of trust. How can we share a purpose without demanding sameness? How do you welcome one another’s bodies already framed as Russian, Serbian, female, disobedient, too old, too fat, too much, not enough, or simply invisible? What are the gestures of radical trust? Do they activate a body archive that entangles the private and the political? Is friendship where you achieve relational autonomy? Would you endure some socio-political, cultural, economic or any pain, to become and remain friends? Could you consent to a daily reminder to protect your pactum amicorum?
