Vrt tako od početka nije samo prostor u kojem se odvija radnja, već mesto na kojem se susreću sećanje, gubitak i potreba da se ono što je bilo ponovo uspostavi. Radžab tekst ne postavlja prvenstveno kao političku priču o savremenoj Britaniji, već pažnju usmerava prema odnosu pojedinca prema sopstvenom sećanju. Ono što za Odri predstavlja obnovu jednog izgubljenog sveta, drugi likovi ne moraju da doživljavaju na isti način. Pokušaj da se prošlost vrati zato postaje i pokušaj da se drugima nametne određena predstava o toj prošlosti. 🎟️ Ulaznice su u prodaji putem linka u opisu profila. 14 September | 20:00 National Theatre in Belgrade, Main Stage 🎭 Albion Text: Mike Bartlett Stage Adaptation and Direction: Zafir Radjab Production: Youth Theatre “Nikolay Binev”, Sofia, Bulgaria Curatorial Statement: Mike Bartlett’s “Albion”, in Zafir Radjab’s stage adaptation and direction, begins with the story of Audrey Walters, a woman who, following a personal loss, attempts to restore an old estate and garden that represents a connection to her past. From the outset, the garden is therefore more than the setting of the action: it is the place where memory, loss and the desire to restore what once existed meet. Radjab does not approach the text primarily as a political story about contemporary Britain. Instead, he focuses on the individual’s relationship with memory. What Audrey sees as the restoration of a lost world is not necessarily experienced in the same way by the other characters. The attempt to restore the past thus also becomes an attempt to impose a particular understanding of that past on others.
